Wayfair & CastleGate Integration Guide

Overview

This guide explains how to connect your Wayfair account with Synctify OMS.

Synctify currently supports two Wayfair integration methods:

Wayfair Vendor Marketplace
Manual User Account Setup

If you can access and authorize Synctify through Wayfair Vendor Marketplace, we recommend using that flow. Manual User Account Setup remains available for accounts that require the existing setup method.

Note

Available integration options may vary depending on your Wayfair account configuration. If you are not sure which method to use, please contact the Synctify Support Team before starting the setup.

Connect Synctify OMS via Wayfair Vendor Marketplace

Use this method if you can access Vendor Marketplace in Wayfair Partner Home.

Step 1. Open Vendor Marketplace

Open Wayfair Vendor Marketplace from Integrations > Vendor Marketplace , or directly open this link: Wayfair Vendor Marketplace

You may be asked to log in to Wayfair when you start the integration.

Step 2. Search for Synctify

In Wayfair Vendor Marketplace, search for Synctify.

Select the integration card that matches your workflow.

Step 3. Start the Integration

Click Integrate on the Synctify integration card.

You can also click View profile to review the integration details, then click Integrate from the profile page.

Step 4. Select API Permissions

On the Manage API Permissions page, select all available permissions required for your integration.

Then click Submit Authorisation Request .

Step 5. Create and Authorize the Application

In the Create Application window, enter the required application details:

Application Name
Description

For Application Name, we recommend entering Synctify OMS.

Then click Create & Authorize .

Step 6. Copy the API Credentials

After authorization is successful, Wayfair will generate the following credentials:

Client ID
Client Secret

Copy both credentials.

Important

Save the Client ID and Client Secret securely. The Client Secret may not be shown again after you close this window.

Step 7. Enter Credentials in Synctify OMS

Go to Integration > Connect , search for Wayfair , and open the Wayfair connection form.

Enter the following information:

Client ID
Client Secret
Environment

Select the correct environment, then click Submit .

Once completed, your Wayfair account is connected to Synctify OMS through Wayfair Vendor Marketplace.

Connect Synctify OMS via Manual User Account Setup

Use this method if Vendor Marketplace is not available in your Wayfair account, or if the Synctify Support Team instructs you to use the existing setup flow.

Step 1. Navigate to User Management

Click the icon in the upper right corner to go to the User Management page, or directly open this link:
https://partners.wayfair.com/users

Step 2. Invite a New User

Click the Invite User button.

Step 3. Fill in User Information

Enter the following details :

First Name: Synctify
Last Name: Support
Email: example@synctify.net
Language: English (US)

Step 4. Assign Access Roles

Grant the following Access Roles , then click Invite User :
✅ Add Product to CastleGate
✅ Advanced ASN Label
✅ API
✅ ASN Label
✅ Castlegate Allow Signature Required
✅ CastleGate Bulk Load
✅ Inbound on CastleGate Account
✅ Inventory
✅ Order Management
✅ Pricing
✅ Product Management
✅ Reporting
✅ Report Viewer

Once completed, your Wayfair account is successfully connected to Synctify OMS.

Do I need to select all permissions in Vendor Marketplace?

Yes. Select all available permissions required for your integration before submitting the authorization request.

Missing permissions may prevent Synctify OMS from syncing orders, inventory, or related Wayfair data correctly.

What should I do with the Client ID and Client Secret?

Copy the Client ID and Client Secret generated by Wayfair, then paste them into the Wayfair connection form in Synctify OMS.

Save the credentials securely. The Client Secret may not be shown again after you close the success window.

Which Wayfair integration method should I use?

If Vendor Marketplace is available in your Wayfair Partner Home, we recommend using the Vendor Marketplace authorization flow.

If Vendor Marketplace is not available, or if your account requires the existing setup flow, use the Manual User Account Setup method.
